Great Beer Slow Food 2015-2016

Matrioska is a Russian Imperial Stout seasoned in barrels of Ledaig whisky for five months. Despite its high alcohol content (10%) it has an extraordinarly drinkability, result of a marked softening and a perfect balance between the malted component and the bitterness (50 IBU).

It is produced with German base malts and special English malts, like the Roasted Barley, the Chocolate and the Black malt. For the hopping we use an English traditional hop, the Fuggle.

Immediate to the nose the scents of whisky and wood, and the aroma of the roasting process.

Regarding the color, it is a thick black with a snow white foam.
